Goals:

• Confront a set of proteins grouped for a particular biological reason with proteomics physical interaction data in order to extract meaningful interactions.

• Create a web platform for bioinformatics analysis of the combination of these data through interactions networks.

Interests:

Create an innovative approach to better understand the biological mechanisms at the molecular level by:

• effectively mining interactions referenced in proteomics databases that contain a lot of "background noise".

• obtaining an overview of the studied mechanisms.

Expecting Results:

• Highlight the links between interactions and functional properties of proteins.

• Facilitate the selection of targets for further biological studies.

• Provide a versatile tool for studies with a fundamental and/or biomedical purpose like, for instance, in the field of cancer biology.
